When it comes to amphibians, we've all heard of frogs, toads,and slamanders. But before last year, I never knew what a caecilian was. Well here it is:

Now moving on to the platypus. I've always thought the platypus was kind of cool... but there was always something strange about it I couldn't figure out. Yesterday, I found out that they can be poisonous!

Apparently, the male platypus has a spur on the back of it's ankle and, if stabbed, will kill small animals and cause excruciating pain to humans. I read some other cool stuff about it too, here's the link:
