gears of war or cod4 which is better

i haven't really played either too much to know which is actually better but I'd probably go with COD 4 for unknown reasons lol, and i found it a bit more fun than when i played GoW not too long before COD4 came out

I don't know, they're both pretty fun.
I never actually played GoW, but I watched my cousin all the time.

They're both good games.

i go with cod4 cause its realy fun i own it and i quit halo 3 to play cod4 its awosme online play awsome gow didnt like the online play campain was great but the online death match horriable way to much lag and if u shoot some one with a shotgun it barly hurts then but when they come up on u the same way u die lol i pick cod4 all the way

haven't played this yet...but according to my friend, COD4 is much better than GOW...i don't know why,....

I play CoD more than GoW.
On camaign for GoW, it was so fun, but short. Also I loved the chainsaw.
CoD had a good story, also was short.
On live I like CoD better than GoW.
Guess its CoD4!

CoD4, better campaign, better online since not everyone is a total jerk.

GoW: "WHAT? YOU BEAT IT ON INSANE IN ONLY 3 HOURS? NOOB LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL I COULD OWN JOO!"

CoD4: "So, what should I use guys? A P9 for my close combat with a Desert Eagle backup, or that Spetznaz sniper rifle with an M3?"

Gears was great fun for awhile, but I like CoD4 better.

I'd say COD4 is just slightly better than GOW... It's more realistic and I really liked the online (I never got to play GOW online)
