I haven't been posting much of the day but I have been checking up now and then. That is because I have been working on setting up my newest PC Building Project. I did it before which was actually my server and It was time to build myself another custom PC for myself.

It is an AMD Processor and I installed Windows XP Pro on it :D and it is working out great.

I'll be posting some pics soon, but this is just to explain where I've been.

My activity will be low the next few days because I have to get this PC running fully like my old one. Have no Photoshop or anything else installed.

Am on the new PC right now and it pwns my old one any day :D

I am excited to get this thing finally finished since 90% of my parts were shipped this morning. Took me about 2 hours putting this thing together and another 5 hours installing the operating system. Another hour to set up windows to my liking. Then shut it off and opened it up and re-did the wiring cuz they were all messed up. Then another 30 minutes spent fixing the internet because it wasn't working. And a bunch of headache periods in between but other than that, the built went smoothly.

Btw for those on the GF TeamSpeak servers - uh..it's down because I accidently unplugged the power strip that the server power cords were plugged in to. I'll be getting it back up next weekend so expect a few days downtime. I am sorry for this technical issue but I just noticed that it was shut off a few minutes ago.

LiNuX, I'm jealous. If it wasn't 10 o'clock at night here, I'd reach across the internet and slap you. And then run into my anti-ban bunker of course.

But anyway, that's cool. I'm waiting for the money to get mine, I'm gonna get an Alienware and use this one for scrap, maybe run the *nix on it, maybe use it for scrap. You know what a computer freak I am, I can't wait to get a look at it...post pics ASAP dude...

not too hard if u know what to get, and if u lived close to me i could have helped you out, but if your location is right, ur in ohio and i don't think im willing to travel all the way there for a simple pc built lol

lol, pics will come soon - the pics are from before I re-wired so it looks weird but I'll try to post them tomorrow or the day after, this pc doesn't have a memory card reader like my old one

i am now running two custom self-built pcs side by side :D

less than 2 hrs for hardware install - easy for me - if i remember correctly I started at around Noon and finished by 1:30 pm, then i had to run out and buy milk lol

like 5 hrs for OS install cuz i screwed up first time, otherwise it wouldn't have been half of that

Not really a long time. if you have all the parts and such a good 6-7 hours

6-7 hours was when i built my server - and that's for the OS only, hardware took me less than 2 hours, Linux was just tough to install and get it right, took about 5-6 hrs on OS install and set up

Lol.

could have used the wish of luck before i started - i almost broke my CPU fan cuz it ticked me off lol

IT WOULDN'T SIT IN PLACE!!

its fun for me so i wouldn't look at it as a bother to look at or build a custom pc, its fun :D

it's just hard to get from where i am to where you are for a custom pc lol, if u were near me, i'm all game to help you out

lol i've always been that, good with softwares and stuff and know my way around a lot - used to fix software issues at some computers in my old high school - i had lots of access

but only been a few months since i've been feeling the same form of "intelligence" for the hardware
