Is college for you? Do you plan to go after you get out of high school or are you in college? Tell me.

I am going to college. But if I don't go then I will join the Air Force. I will see if I can get to fly a Black Hawk Helicopter around Iraq or in relief efforts.

in college now, majoring in criminal justice and minoring in computer science - its pretty fun with the right professors, my philosophy prof. makes me hate school with his "philosophy"

my other professors are good, advisers and deans are great :D

its just a different experience, way different from high school so if you do have the chance to go to college, i say go now rather than going to the military and coming back for your degree later -

one of my friend is in active duty military right now - part of the US Army - i have class with him - so if u do decide to join the military, see if they let you go to college in the meantime, before times of emergency

i was thinking of getting a minor in that a few years back when i got photoshop and i was practicing and got a little good, then after i got a job and i had all my law stuff, i had to give up photoshop for like a year so i threw that idea out and got computer science instead

good enough :D

Criminial justice? Nice :]
My friend wants to major in that, and my ex is.

I'm not sure what I want to minor in yet.
Knowing that college is so different from highschool I'm definitely afraid to go, lol.

before college i was gonna do prelaw but then there is no such major as Pre-Law lol - so criminal justice is where i have to start to get to law school in 4 years, 3.5 years now actually :D counting down the days, its what school in general is all about

I think it's so ridiculous how we have to spend nearly 18 years of our life in formal education.
It used to be that getting through the 6th grade was enough, lol.

:3 Yeah, I plan on going to a college lol.

But, I'm not really sure what I want to pursue as a career though. So far I'm debating on sticking to what I do best which is graphic design. Or, if I want to pursue a college aimed more towards something like cosmetology. I have no idea what I want to do lol.

XD

more of 13 years from k-12

and its only in this country - go to europe or asia, you start first grade at like age 4 and end at grade 10 at age 14 and go onto college

thats why people going to school in india, japan, china, bangladesh, singapore, and all those south east asian countries have smarter kids than here in the US. in the UK you end after 10th grade as well then go to a college followed by University - two different things there, same things here :/

We do spend way too much time in school, we learn a bunch of stuff that will never help in real life and we forget anyways.

Well, in today's job market it's pretty much necessary to get a college degree to be hired.
Otherwise you'll be stuck at McDonald's :]

False on so many levels. sure a degree will get you a better pay scale but you won't be stuck in Mcdonalds just because you didn't go to college.

True, I was just exaggerating.
