View Full Version : Downhill Skiing
Who Ski's here? It's so awesome. I'm still learning but when you go downhill really fast it's so awesome. I don't know why, but I actually like the falls. They're so fast and you don't even know what hit you.
*A bit weird, I know*
So who else likes Downhill Skiing or goes Downhill Skiing?

i've never been skiing or snowboarding, one of my friends came back to class on monday after getting a sprained shoulder snowboarding up in vermont this past weekend
sounds fun to pop your shoulder out and then back in by itself lol
im not much of a boarder of any kind, can't rollerskate either sadly, more of a biker guy :D 10 speed bike or a motorcycle lol, have exp with both
i wouldn't mind trying downhill skiing on a 10 foot hill :-P
There's also Heli Skiing I believe.
My teacher broke his leg in Quebec once, he told me. They have like the best mountains.

I have been both cross-country and downhill skiiing, never snow boarding.
Absolutly love the speed and thrill of downhill skiing, and I have been meaning to go skiing again.. just haven't got around to it.
(Not too many close-by skiing areas in Australia)
I live about 40-50 minutes from 2 Olympic ski areas. Lol last Sunday they were selling Chevy's at the ski base and they had also provided a 30X30 yard television. For adds.
Yes @ LiNuX.
It's however dangerous because the only way to be safe is to complete your run.
