Do you follow the ESRB rating system for games?

I don't even before I was 17. I played any game no matter what the rating was.

nope, I've got whatever game I wanted since I started.. before 18 my parents got them and after 18 I can. Actually I follow a little.. like I see what games get Adult ratings which mean death sentence for the game unless they change it up.. like Manhunt 2

Depends, I said "no" because the ESRB doesn't distate what I play.

Mortal Combat is the only game I know thta My parents didn't want me to play because of all the blood, not because it was M

Maybe if I have kids one day or something.

I'm still not 17, but i've been playing mortal kombat for years on end.

I voted No... but in reality, I should have said yes. because... since the ESRB takes the time to tell e which games are M and above, I know which ones to look at first. I dont think I have played a game that was rated under M in a few years.

I sorta did.

I've been playing E and T games my whole life, and it was only recently that I started playing M rated games. (like last summer before I turned 16)

So...I put maybe haha.

theres like 20. Nobody sells them, and about half of them are web browser based games.

On game consoles...nope..all 3 consoles basically refuse to have them on their console and major retailers won't put them on the shelf...really no one pushes them..San Andreas rating was put at AO after the coffee mod but they took that out and Manhunt 2 as A0 for awhile till they took out some parts..I believe raping a women and cooking a cat in a microwave were why they went insane.

I still think it's funny God of War didn't get a AO rating with the sex game to get orbs..or God of War 2 with hidden sex game..double standards because it's Sony games?

AO games tend to be japanese hentai/date rape games that are usually flash based.

I have never followed it :D I remember playing some porn game when I was like 9 lol. Once my dad said I couldn't get Counter-Strike for Xbox while we were at a store because it was for 18+ and I was like to him O.o then I went home and got it for PC online :)
