Command and Conquer 3 Croatia Help!

Can anyone help? the mission in Croatia where after protecting the base you have to escort the MCV back to the base, anyone have any tips because I'm stuck.

Well what I would do is capture any valuable resources and build up a big group to protect your base while sending smaller groups to their objectives. This should help out a great deal. It has for some missions i have done. But make sure your strongest are on the escort.

If you're still looking for help on this one, this is what I do. First train 3 rifle squads and put them in APCs, then park them just to the southwest of your base in guard stance to continually kill off any approaching infantry from that region. Next, make sure you have 2 harvesters constantly bringing in tiberium. Build up a force of predator tanks and APCs with missile squads in them (make sure it's a HUGE squad). Save the game, then when you are ready, take your huge squad and destroy the base in the northeast corner of the map. If you were unable to destroy it, re-load the game, build more tanks/APCs and try again. With this base out of the way, the rest of the mission should be not too hard.

Command and Conquer 3 looks really awesome in the graphics. I must still play command and conquer 4 so I don't know how the level of detail is in that game, so I’ll just be surprised when I see it and play it.:-)
