3.7.0 Upgrade Tomorrow (5/15/08)

Tomorrow I will attempt an upgrade from vbulletin 3.6.9 to 3.7.0 which is much better. The upgrade is due to take place at 11 AM Eastern Standard Time - the time may be changed slightly depending on how the backups and file uploads go but the process will begin at 11 AM.

The forum will be down from 1 - 4 hours (6 hours if its really bad) and it can shut off anywhere from Noon to 4 PM again, depending on how the rest of the upgrade goes that does not need me to shut down the forum.

If you have any questions, please post here and I'll try to answer to the best of my knowledge.

Thats pretty good times. If it end at 4 hours after 11, I get home at 3:30 and eat lunch/dinner till 4:00, so it might be down. but most likely not.

:) thank me after it has been upgraded successfully - there were times before where upgrades didn't go too well but if anything goes wrong i am going to run the upgrade on my home computer which can add on an extra 4 hours

and also regarding the upgrade - only two themes will work afterwards, red & Silver and the default theme - all others will be deleted or deactivated because 3.7.0 won't take them - i found that out on the test run on my pc a few weeks ago

more themes will be added over the next few months since i have more time to customize them and all :)
