May 16, 2008 - We've been hinting at first footage for High Voltage Software's The Conduit ever since its unveiling a few weeks back, but we're finally able to pull the curtain back on it. For those that haven't been following the game thus far, The Conduit is a futuristic first-person shooter built from the ground up specifically for Wii but High Voltage Software. The game embraces classic FPS control on the Wii, utilizing IR control for aiming, and a few new elements such as the "all-seeing eye" to uncover mysterious alien elements throughout the world.
In this initial gameplay trailer, we follow the main character's introduction into an underground plot that may in fact take over Washington D.C. and eventually, the world. Within the trailer you can see the SCAR rifle in action, some quick pistol work, a few of the environments from the game, and some tricks involving the all-seeing eye. We'll have more on The Conduit soon, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled as production continues on this Wii-specific first-person shooter.
We've been getting small updates from the developer, but as of yet there's still no publisher officially announced for The Conduit as of yet. If you're an interested Wii gamer, be sure to weigh in on our comments section below, and show your support for one of Wii's top independently-developed titles.

Looks pretty good and fun as well.
