As we have it there is no way for spoiler tags..therefore someone could go into a topic and ruin some of the gameplay by reading crucial spoilers about game story, character ect.., I think to make the forum the best it could be we need spoiler tags asap and for those that don't don't know whats up
and the text inside would be hidden until someone actually clicked

I think that's a pretty good idea.
I didn't know we could do something like that.
Shouldn't people be putting '(spoiler)' or something like that in the thread topic anyways?

That would be a good idea until spoiler tags were enabled, but I don't think I've ever seen that happen before.

Well there are 2 options.
Make everything white like this. Then tell people to highlight to show spoiler
Seconly there is a bbc code that allows you to hide things and if you want to see it you click the botton but we don't have that yet.
So go with plan A and rukisuto's idea.

have you seen this done on other forums? because I have no idea how to make the bb code hide text until someone clicks it unless there is a mod for it

Highlighting the text white won't work for the people who are using the dark gf theme.
I'm using it right now, lol.

I actually remember a forum I was once joined to had that mod, where the text would be hidden in sort of a quote box, then you press the drop down arrow and reveal the text.
I wish I could remember what forum that was DDD:
But for now people can just put something like "***SPOILERS***" in their post before the spoilers I guess.

i think i got it lol, its just some trick php coding within the bb code, i'll see if i can set that up later, hope it works
and weird enough this bbcode modification was posted on the vb site on June 5th, just 4 days ago, no wonder I haven't seen it before

ps3forums- totally hides it unless you click a button and even can make spoiler within a spoiler up till like 32 like....

ps3forums runs off the same board we do so I don't see why it'd be a problem implementing it once you found out how

Neogaf is cooler but either one will do.
