Barry Bonds's name should not be up there, steroid taking freak - still remember that game where he hit that ball out of the stadium into that lake i think - hank aaron all the way!

I still am a fan of Barry Bonds although I'm glad no one signed him cause I was sick of the circus but really you think about it....Barry Bonds was a juicer and Sammy Sosa also had to be a juicer..well at least imo he was...that's 40% of the top 5 tainted by steroids...but hey Griffey will knock Sosa out of the top 5 and A-rod and Pujols will surely come around and invade the top 5..knocking Sosa nearly out of the top 10.

I still am a fan of Barry Bonds although I'm glad no one signed him cause I was sick of the circus but really you think about it....Barry Bonds was a juicer and Sammy Sosa also had to be a juicer..well at least imo he was...that's 40% of the top 5 tainted by steroids...but hey Griffey will knock Sosa out of the top 5 and A-rod and Pujols will surely come around and invade the top 5..knocking Sosa nearly out of the top 10.

yeah i agree with you about sosa, he looks like he juiced even a little bit lol, and a-rod is slowly catching up - but hank aaron's record will still be up there and personally, i still see him as number 1 (just hope he didnt juice lol)

At Ruki: Don't forgot they are doing this against 95 MPH pitching.

i was referring to the first and only time i saw him do that, don't know how many that was then - and i never paid attention to barry bonds any way so i could care less how many he hit lol, i just know, i saw it once!

i didnt even remember that until now lol, yeah i remember something about that a while ago - i think sheffield was caught using one too, or later on they found it was legit, forgot which

Technically, you put cork into a bat, I forgot exactly what it does, but it helps you to hit the ball.

It makes the bat lighter so it's easier/faster to swing.
Therefor, the ball goes farther :]

lol, i used a cork bat once, it was in the park years ago, this guy used to bring his two sons to play and me and a few others just tagged alone, he had a metal bat and a cork bat - i tried out cork bat once and it felt GOOD (the swing), no wonder its illegal in MLB

so basically its like steroids. well :-P to them who got caught because they are CHEATERS! thats why I dont like Sammy Sosa he needs to be taken down and other people needs to beat there records.

ya Sosa got suspended 10 games when he got caught. Funny how he was trying to say it was a mistake and just a practice bat...sure.

It took Griffey a while to get to 600, but I'm glad he did, still one of the sweetest swings in the game.
