I wanted to know if any one knows where I can get an Adapter that converts the Sata port from a LAPTOP Hard Drive into USB so I can plug it into my pc.

I found a few places that sell for around $30 and i dont feel like spending that much if I can get it cheaper and I already tried eBay, can't find the one I need.

Help appreciated, just have to fix my lenovo laptop hard drive, it got corrupted somehow and i can't enter bios - laptop was given to me by my college so I don't want to reinstall the cmos battery cuz they are watching :radar:

I may have found one for $20

Newegg.com - VANTEC CB-ISATAU2 SATA/IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter - Adapters & Gender Changers (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812232002)

I'll keep looking

lol i already saw that a while ago, it was $25 back then with free shipping

but i don't need this any more, i just connected it through a regular sata cable and connected a spare power cord from my PSU to it - and it WORKED. i wouldn't think that it would work. I still have to make it so it doesn't fall off later cuz only one screw is holding it up - its 2.5" so its smaller than it should be

What he MEANT to say was:

"Thank you for your help, but I already took care of my problem. You are a good man regardless of what people call you."
