Here we discuss and talk about the happenings of E3 2008, as E3 draws close leaks will start to flow and when it finally happens the info and vids will explode the internet, so fasten your seatbelts and get ready to take in a mega-ton amount of information in a short amount of time.


The mythical project that announces itself to be God of War III on Playstation 3 will take forms as early as this year, since Sony confirmed us during the parlor of the IDEF, that is held currently in the luxurious and heavenly framework of Canes, that Kratos will appear in high definition to Los Angeles, to the occasion of l'E3 2008. well actually, FF13 is kinda fantasy as well, seeing as the white engine used to make it causes the 360 to crash...

Yea, one of my sarcasm things again :p That is what the eyes were for. It would be nice if FF came out fro 360. FF was on the PC same company so it has a good chance.

damn you and your sarcasm. Although I doubt FF 13/Vs will come to the 360 I certainly think there's a better chance that the 360 gets FF13/vS. than getting MGS4.

One of the criticisms of E3 last year was that there were very few huge reveals. Nintendo's Wii Fit was one of the surprises but, as cool as the unique title was, it didn't really inspire the core gaming market. This year is going to be different, though. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime let just the tiniest trickle of intrigue loose during a recent interview, hinting at a big surprise for this year's E3.

Speaking with GameTrailers TV, Fils-Aime perpetuated the Nintendo standard of keeping tight-lipped about future developments. Slyly dodging questions about the orchestra-toting Wii Music and Donkey Kong Wii, Fils-Aime offered the following:

Who knows? Maybe that's one of the things we'll talk about at E3. There's gonna be a big game for the holiday that the gamers will want. All I can tell you is what we announce during E3 is gonna be fantastic. The gamer is gonna be excited and the expanded audience is gonna be excited.

Fils-Aime noted specifically that the company would be "maximizing all of our key franchises" following E3 2008. Whether this means we'll be seeing a new F-Zero, Kid Icarus, or what have you is unclear, but we'll be sure to get the scoop on site at E3 this year.

Kinda makes me want a Wii? If anything I hope its some great RPG. I bet it will be yet another release of Zelda.

possibly Pikman 3, new Animal Crossing, a new Punch Out would thrill many, i think it's too soon for a new Zelda.

According to Bloomberg Japan, Enterbrain (Famitsu's parent company) honcho Hirokazu Hamamura has said that Nintendo might unveil a new DS model at E3 2008. While Ash is asleep and our Google Translate only takes us so far, there doesn't appear to be any other information of note other than Nintendo declining to comment on the rumor.

Since it took about two years for the DS to become the DS Lite, the timeline for the DS Lite to become the DS Liter seems right on track. What would you like to see in the updated handheld if Hamamura's prediction comes to fruition?

If this happens then wow? Another hand held. Whats the point of making it lighter? I think the DS lite should of never been released. In fact I don't think there should be any more versions of the DS.

To see sales rise again, DS sales have been kinda flat... But if anything they should release more colors and pricedrop..Japan really one of those..they have yet to see a pricedrop on the DS..in fact the price went up when the Lite was released.

E3 is a shell of it's former self in terms of space. When GAF isn't broken I'll find the pics of where everyone is at. I read that instead of being in the big hall there all going to be in a small hall that was reserved for like 3 companies..one being Tecmo IIRC

New Experiences on the Way for Wii and Nintendo DS

another thing about FF13, It's still exclusive to PS3 in Japan..suppose SE figures 360 is complete worthless in that region(they are correct) but still surprising they wouldn't localize for jpn 360 only gamers.
