Anyone got a psp?

hey i just got a new psp and people say you can put movies and games from the internet but you need a thing called firmware does anyone no where to get this or download it also anyone no where to get psp movies and games?:eek1:

Search google, it will give you what you want

You need to have a cord to hook to the computer to do all this stuff too

and as for movies, you need to convert regular movie files to be able to view in the psp - i have done that before but never with games, you won't be able to find those awesome games like that and expect to download on your memory card and play it

Well you can download regular movies, and then convert them with a converter like linux posted. Then you should be able to just drag it into the movie file

With games, not so sure about that

you won't really find those games to just download like that and be able to play, you need a special format because psp does not recognize all game formats

and if you aren't paying for the game, 80% chance it's illegal because no one will give you old classic games to play for free on your PSP without some form of charge - i think the wii lets you do that but there is a price i believe

Yea with the wii you can buy them in the store thing with wii points

when i push on that link for the psp converter it ask me what kind of firmware i got i dont got none yet ! how do i get it

Your psp should already have firmware on it i believe

I don't have mine anymore, but somewhere in the psp options theres info about what version you have of the firmware

you can do computer related things such as:

1. watch movies
2. download certain softwares
3. use the browser
4. even play certain flash games.

when i got my psp in early 2007 a 1 gig memory stick cost me $25...crazy

a month ago i bought a 2 gig memory stick for my sony digital camera for less than $10 - price has gone down big time - its authentic and works great on both my camera and psp

That's nothing, my PSP's first Memory card cos £80 which is around $40 lol.

and yeah i know, they were dumb expensive when the psp first came out - i remember the 4 gig memory stick was $120 back in the day

lol yeah it is. There hasn't been many good PSP games lately, just God of War.
