Final Fantasy 13 news

There's not much news for this game, but I thought I would post a few things.


Final Fantasy XIII is part of three games being called Fabula Nova Crystallis (that's "The New Tale of The Crystal" to those of us not fluent in Latin), with two of the titles appearing on PS3 and one on mobile phones. The fantasy is far from over!

Exclusively on PlayStation 3 ( later onto the Xbox 360 )
Release Date: TBA

I for one think the game looks great. Though it's only for ps3, I hope they release it later for the xbox 360 also.

The graphics look so nice and I like the design of the main character.
FF 10-2 was gross, so this is a nice change to try and have females that aren't wearing bathing suits (:


Looking forward to it.
I doubt it'd come out for xbawx though, Final Fantasy has always been a more Playstation only game.

Not really, it was released on Nintendo first. Then it went on ps1 and ps2. The 360 has FF 11. It's very possible for FF 13 to be on the xbox 360 on a later date.

Yeah I could possibly see it happen, but I just wonder with all the playstation vs. xbawx debates and etc., if it would affect whether or not it does come out on 360.

The graphics wouldn't look nearly as good. If this comes out for pc I'll get it, for it instead. FF 13 on pc, wow...

FF13 WILL NEVER come out on xbox 360 for the simple fact that the engine used to play the game does not function on the 360. It causes problems because it was built from the ground-up for the PS3.

Theirs no way for you to know if it does or not. I think it will. They could edit the engine a bit so it functions on the 360. If it even has to. Who told you that it was built from ground up on the PS3. Was it some ps3 fan boy? Theirs no way to tell until Square-Enix makes a comment on it.

okay, nevermind. They did change it. a lot. Now it works with all systems.

There's plenty of reason for it to go to it. Your just saying that it shouldn't because your a ps3 fan boy. Now what gaming companies want? Money.... The xbox 360 sales are over 18 million. Not sure what ps3 is, but it's lower. Final Fantasy is a huge, name for RPG lovers. So its going to make a huge profit. If you ask me, theirs no reason not to have it move to the 360.

You said that FF13 puts PS3 at the end of trailer or w/e. That is because its releasing on the ps3 first. Why would they say "xbox 360" If it's not coming out for it straight away...

Yep, just announced on E3 FFXIII is going to be on the 360. Not sure if it's both of them or what.

Versus is ps3-only. They'll probably cancel it though.

If I see any 360 copies of FF13 i WILL break them. I don't care who's it is. It will become broken.

:laugh:, I knew you'd have a bitter teared meltdown like this. VS. is really irrelevant seeing it's being devved after 13 and seeing 13 is taking good sweet time arriving I wouldn't be shocked at a spring 2010 or later release date and who's to state they don't announce that going to 360 at a later date.

:mad1: well hopefully Squeenix isn't completely unloyal and still lets Versus be a PS3 exclusive. More people want FF13 anyways.

unloyal... FF 12 was on the 360 also it only makes sense for 13 to be on it.

When it finally gets released PS3 will probably be around 20...360 28.. So they go from trying to sell to 20 million owners to 48...just makes good business sense to release it on the 360.
