I think I just found a game to disturb my Metal Gear loving, download the demo having brefly dabbled in the previous games and was pretty much expecting a watered down port from PC with frustrating controls but I was really surprised with what I played. The game feels fluid, runs well and looks pretty decent.

Added to my "Must buy" list.

Anyone else try it?

civilization games can get addicting lol, i never played revolution but when i first played Civ III, i was hooked for like 6 months, then when Civ IV came out - i actually stopped myself from getting into it and played like 2-3 hrs total because I was having my exams and stuff when I got it. but yeah, civ games can get addicting

Civ2 rocked for PS1 and judging by the demo...Civ Rev will rock as well, just need to get the money to buy it now.

civ2 was great too, i remember, you were able to use the rivers to move by faster like rail roads but they took that away in Civ III :(

doubt i'll be getting civ revolution, haven't even played civ IV thoroughly and its for a console, i like my strategy games on the pc

I own it. It's fun and very addictive. You can play it for hours and hours non-stop.

If you search, there are a couple threads about the game.
I think there might be a review too.
It'll give you more insight on the game.

POST 3000 :]

Well it's just like the Civilisation games on PC. You can read a review of it on gamespot.

I heard of this game, I'll get it if it is like the other Civilizations, the ones that pull you in and will make you play them for countless hours.

But yes, I was talking about civ4 on PC. Strategy games usually suck on consoles...

Are all the civilization games turn based? I played and own an old school one, i think the second one. It's all turn based and i can't figure out how the hell to do anything and i just end up with my douche-bag looking advisers screaming at me haha

you MUST get this for PS3 and STOP playing this on your PC. it's a thousand times better. and they have TONS of add ons on the PS3 store online.
no joke prolly the best strategy game i ever played. makes WOW look like a welfare case. but then again they havent released that for any good platforms except for PC. kinda sad really.

I also enjoyed downloaded the demo and played, and while I did enjoy it, I agree that it just isn't the same on a console and I'd prefer to play on my PC. Saying that, the controls are pretty good for console.
