Help needed

I need some help please...

I want to buy a laptop mainly for school work and defnitely gaming.......
my current system expired since warcraft launched :-)

I need some advice as to what type of laptop to buy as well as what kinda components, config Iwould need etc.

I will appreciate all the help I can get.

do you absolutely need a laptop? because desktops are cheaper and they are much more stable, and you can upgrade them easily and they can be packed with more power than any laptop

but if you still want a laptop, i'd recommend at least getting a dual core processor with the speed of 2.0 ghz or more for games coming out lately, get at least a 160 gig hard drive because game files are pretty big these days. At least 1-2 gigs of RAM - there are games out there now that will demand a lot of memory. And a Decent Graphics Card. Nvidia Gforce 8 or 9 series should do the trick for games coming out lately.

And you should be able to do school work with it, but it'll be expensive and usually laptops tend to get hotter if you play games since they pull the cpu and ram power away from most of the other programs
