If you noticed from number 4-10,Wii is selling hot too.According to research it mentions that casual gamers override the hardcore ones in numbers.

I don't see why it'd be charged for at any point. Ya Wii is defiantly Casual Game central.

Edit: Also if anyone is wondering why PS2 has been absent then appeared in the last couple NPD's..the answer is when NPD their figure they have started leaving them out(stupid seeing how well it's still selling) and we have to wait for Sony PR.

Sadly after next gen consoles are released,the old PS2,XBOX,GBA are slowly left out.Most news and publicity goes to the new ones.Usually the loyal Playstation magazines still covers new games released for the PS2.

Lets not forget about the old systems where all our gaming journeys began :)

Indeed, but the difference between PS2 and the one's you listed is that PS2 still sells(nearly outsold the 360) and still has lots of support from game devs...unlike Xbox/GBA/GC which next to ton games and aren't made anymore....well at least GB/Xbox isn't..so imo it's only logical to still list it.


Really would be nice to know how GTA 4 did on both platsforms, how battlefield bad company for ps3 did and how GRID did for both.

And monthly rant..**** off Wii Play.

i'm still looking at the PS2 numbers lol, just a few thousand behind the 360 wow - i know sony isn't regretting a bit of the PS2 right now
