you truly fail hard at life. Planet Terror is awesome, not sure why you'd think it be funny. In Bruges is funny as hell and very entertaining.

I dont fail at life. i fail at movies. Because i have a friend who made me get them and went on and on about how funny they were during the walk home. About how planet terror was the best horror spoof ever 'cos it took itself so seriously and whatnot. It was good, but more serious than what i had expected.
Meh, we all have different tastes and i, personally, didn't find In Bruges gripping. It's not my usual sorta movie.

just remembered, watched Slackers for the first time in like 4 years, still an average movie. shocked I didn't have it rated on my IMDB, up to 924 movies rated.

point taken, what are your usual types of movies. maybe I can suggest something that might be more to your tastes

Generally action, fantasy or sci-fi. Pretty much anything with sword fights and a touch of comedy.

New Jersey Drive, 8.0

Pretty good flick that main focus is a teens struggle to a grip on life as things are basically always going wrong around him, it doesn't help that his friends are car thiefs and criminals and he basically is to, it's not until he's done 3 months and all his friends except 1 die that changes.

Godzilla - The original Japanese black and white one. It's awesome - so much better than the newer Americanised version. The plot is radically different.

Body of Lies- 8.0

Good movie. A undercover agent is in the midst of Iraq war trying to get a major terrorist leader. By the time the movie ends he gets fed up with his boss and calls it quits.

Kill Bill volumes 1 and 2. I think I like 1 better but both are fantastic and QT is great.

Defiance and Dirty Mary Crazy Larry are the last 2 movies that I watched. Both 9's, both top notch.

Just watched Adventureland, It was alright. merely an average film. It was not terrible but there isn't much redeeming quality's to be had here.
