NEWS ALERT
from The Wall Street Journal
July 29, 2008
National restaurant chains Bennigan's and Steak & Ale have closed their doors and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection, closing more than 300 locations and laying off thousands of employees. It is one of the U.S.'s largest restaurant bankruptcy filings and eliminates two sit-down chains that have been part of the casual dining landscape for decades. The chains will liquidate and are not likely to re-open.
anyone ever eat there? I for one have never. From reading gaf posts this isn't a big loss as apparently BSA sucked. sucks for the thousands of ppl losing there jobs though so more bad news for USA:(
Edit: after reading more of the neogaf thread it seems that all franchised BSA's will remain open, but all company owned BSA's will be closing.
