So yeah here's a topic to discuss what's going on and what not, I personally will only be watching the basketball portion and hope USA gets gold there but also want USA to get the most medals.

I'll watch, look up online how the U.S is doing in untelevized competitions (Soccer) and that's pretty much it.

I'm currently watching it, not bad. What I think is ridiculous is there's a ton of events playing right now, imo everything should be televised on live tv after the opening ceremony

yup this is defiantly a awesome feeling when the other teams think they caught up too us then we just go out and destroy. also Ricky Rubio really didn't impress me, although he's only 17 they say a couple more yrs of foreign b-ball then he's going to enter the draft and be a top 5 pick.

only my dad's laptop has vista in it - i dont like vista so i dont think i'll be seeing any of that live on my pc lol

and my server is fedora core 8 which is a linux version - it has a horrible monitor, like 12 years old CRT lol, so watching videos there isn't a breeze and I'd rather leave my game servers alone, dont want to cause more server and ram load - i have to upgrade my ram, i can't add any more game servers because about 80% is being used already

but whatever...i'll just check back this thread or search online for medal count - i already knew US is leading with total medal count and china has the most gold cuz of the news earlier today

Edit: Another record has been set by "bolt". He just got the record time in the 100 meters in 9.69 seconds. You could of done way better, because he started 30 meters before the finish line. They think he clocked in at 30 miles per hour.... That's pretty quit.

Ya I think that's a lost cause, seriously I can't believe our women's softball team failed to get gold. softball has been at the Olympics since 1996 and we got gold the first 3 times, such fail that we only got silver

Russia has really jumped up from 2 days ago. They used to be something like 6th and lol at Australia they haven't won a single gold yesterday or the day before that.
