Introduction-

The game starts off with the player as the main protagonist, called Tatsuya as the default name, and introduces us to his best friend, whose default name is Miki. The story kicks off with Tatsuya and Miki sitting on a bench. Tatsuya is too immersed in the game he is playing on his PSP to notice that Miki is missing. Kratos, Miki's dog, barks and shows Tatsuya where Miki is and thus he finds her unconscious on the ground, sick by some unknown illness. He wishes for her to become better, and suddenly, a voice magically appears and asks Tatsuya if he wants to save his friend and make her healthy again. He agrees and thus the adventure begins in an unknown land separated from the rest of the world in order to seize 5 different gems for the travellers sword he holds so he can return to his old world and restore Miki back to full health.
This game is based on the Japanese manga, Brave Story, and features some of the manga's cast, although the main characters, Tatsuya and Miki, are original creations for the game.

Gameplay -
The Game play is pretty solid. Nothing new though for the battle system you have the basic Attack the Skill and the Team Skill aka "Unity" and later on something even better but it takes far too long to get it(You get it on either 8th or 9th Chapter and there is only 11 chapters in the game). The Magic is counted as a Skill and it all takes BP "Brave Points" as for other goodies You can use loot that monsters Drop to make Accessories to up your stats, Such as Strength, Wisdom, Agility, Ect. As for the Boss Battles I was surprised their not too easy nor too hard, and last a decent amount of time. There is plenty of Side Quests which 90% of them are not a waste of time you either get a diagram for an accessory(pretty much Blue prints so you can make it) or Equipment. my only real Complaint is the Hero does not Talk.. I hate that it's one of my pet peeves.

Music-
Again nothing to Complain about but nothing amazing. Not Repetitive at all or annoying. The Boss Battle Music could be a little more intense. Voice acting is pretty good as well.
Graphics-
The Graphics are great. you will feel like your playing a PS2 game on a 2 inch screen..that doesn't sound very appealing..does it? but anyway my point is you wont believe your playing a Hand held..

My scoring-
Would I buy it? Maybe
Would I rent it? Yes
Would I Replay it? Maybe but I rarely Replay ANY RPG.
Why you wouldn't want to play it? If your looking for the Next Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy 7.. this is not for you it doesn't have a Great Story or Great anything. play this if you just want a good old fashioned RPG to play.
Last Results-7.5/10 it's a good Solid RPG just what the Doctor Ordered for any PSP Owner.
