I didnt know you could make custom songs?

just go to youtube and type "guitar hero custom song (anysong you want)

any1 know how to make custom songs or is it a hack?

Something with either having a modded ps2, or getting a bootleg copy of guitar hero.
not sure which.

riku is probably right and I've seen plenty of videos and had discussions about this among friends before - all recent but nothing new for me - would be cool to have a few custom ones on my GHIII though lol

You can only make songs for the PC. I'm not sure if you need a program or if it comes with the game. But you can only do it for the PC.

so guitar hero 2 came out for the pc?
Both those vids element posted are on gh2.

I you make the songs on the PC then you get a modded ps2 and a burned disc or the regular disk of the GH2. Then you can edit the songs into it.

You replace a song on the game with a custom note chart which you can download from scorehero, and then put that version of the game on a disc. You then either have to have a special disc that lets you play bootleg games, or mod your ps2 so it can run bootleg/other region ps2 games.

OR, you could get a PC version of GH3, which isn't recommended because i've read about that game having many bugs.

OR, just wait a few months for guitar hero 4, it lets you make custom note charts
