Best Console?

This isn't another "console war" thread, I just want to know which console offers the best games for clanwise action. I want to start up a clan, and I need a new console as my PS2 was fried about 2 years ago, so which console do you think offers the best clanage games?

PC lol, always, but if you want a console like PS2 or Xbox, i'll say Xbox since it has Xbox live, always great to play online -- although ps2 has shooting games and it has online playing modes and i use those, but Xbox is best if you're gonna start a clan on there for consoles, otherwise stick to pc :)

Yeah, that is what I was leaning towards, the xbox. Think I will get a used xbox for now, and if I do like it, I will get a 360.

Recommend any games? (I'm a PS2 boy, so I don't know any good games for Xbox :P)

Halo lol, the only game people will recommend, the only game xbox is really known for these days, call of duty is for xbox too i think, not sure

Yeah, XBOX is falling off the wagon a bit, thanks in part to the Wii and PS3.

I think that the Xbox 360 is really starting to make an impact in the market now and the games are flying off the shelves for it, many people will disagree but over christmas they still sold millions even though they are now a year old and with the release of the Wii.

However I think that all the consoles have the own specific areas which they each excel in which is why I make sure I have at least one each of the latest consoles to keep myself from growing bored of one in particular.

Wii probably has the fun factor although for general game play and graphics is really really lacks any real quality.

Very fun to play Wii after a party and you've been drinking though, lol

i think the XBOX 360 is the better console...i dont have it...but i had played on a xbox with my friend...and heared a lot of good stuff from the xbox 360 ^^

hehe WII is funny i heard that many german families played with their children some games and the controllers hit in the TV or other think very funny :D about some 100 of that stories and sony (was that the company?) had give a new band for the controllers.the idea is funny, but the graphics and so isnt much nice.

Never played a new console, so I couldn't comment on it. Most I have played is a PS2, but am considering getting a 360 soon

You should definatly get the 360 I would recommend it better than the PS3 at the minute because of the bad stories that I have heard about Sony's latest release.

Where as the 360 is nicely established and there is alot of amazing games out for it.

so pc is technically not a console especially not in the sense most people will define a console, it's a workstation with a lot of capabilities indeed, but not everyone can use it, i know a lot of people who can hardly use a computer especially not for gaming and try to pass it off as a lesser form of entertainment than a console. thats not true. i believe the best console is the 360 but i love my pc (when it works...) as it plays all the latest games and everything else i want it to do.

I would like to say X-box 360 for now becuase of Naruto Rise of Ninja and Halo 3. Anyway time to play Halo 3 Online xD

I think the Wii is the best console. It's great and all with internet access, but lots of consoles have that now. I like that you are able to play games from the other consoles on it.

PS3? Best graphics? I'm going to have to not agree with you there, i watched 2 people play the exact same game on ps3 and xbox 360, the game was oblivion. the ps3 was really low in detail as it couldn't run the anti-aliasing as with current technology isn't made to run on the ps3, when they've learnt how to use the ps3 maybe, but not now, plus there's rumours of mgs4 coming out on 360 (and since 2 and 3 came out for xbox i wouldn't be suprised) and this is BEST CONSOLE FOR CLANS. my cousin kept complaining the sony servers went down and when i watched my friend on the ps3 he didn't seem to be doing anything in particular (infact, he got bored and went on youtube while everyone on the 360 were playing Skate, Blue Dragon etc.) and then the good ol' ps2 went in for some guitar hero. the xbox 360 stayed on all night the ps3 was disconnected half way through... for a games console it's pretty boring.

None of the consoles out of the 360 and the ps3 has the best gfx. Its all to do with how you code it because the gfx is basicly the same

It might over take 360 in a few years. But right now 360 has the best games graphically. Although, motorstorm does look really good

In a few years there will be the ps4 but MS dont have a name for the next xbox yet lol

yes they do, just hasn't been announced. The Playstation 3 on paper sounds a lot better than the 360, but it's how you manage to use it. it may take awhile for people to learn how to code for the ps3. lol, until then, the ps3 isn't really worth considering.
