Are the GH: WT Drum Issues real??

I've heard tons of people saying that the GH: WT yellow cymbol only works if you hit it VERY hard, and that the red pad does not register 90% of the time?? these are things I DO NOT want to hear. But is it true?

I have it layed away so I will be able to tell you in about a week for sure.

I am really nervous cause mines coming tomorrow and if mine does have problems it's going to be a nightmare to try and return them cause I ordered through the Internet.
