I Heard this joke in "The Pursuit of Happiness" and it made me laugh and think of how many people would be like him. (keep in mind it is not exact because i could not remember every word)
I man is sailing in the ocean and a storm comes and wrecks his ship. He says to himself "its allright my god shall save me" Days pass and a ship comes along and asks if he needs help, he declines and says "that is allright my lord shall save me" Days past and another boat comes, asks him for if he needs help and he declines with the same respone: his lord shall save him. Days past and another ship stops by and he declines. Finally the man dies and rises to heaven. There he sees god and says "God, why didnt you save me?" And god replies "I sent you three ships dummy!"
