well. thats kinda a poor ending for him. i have a couple of comic books where superman dies, and one where batman dies (btw, they died pretty good deaths). but sniped down?!?! come on!! pick a good death for em'

He was a cool superhero, but I feel that his death is symbolic of American society today; it's ebbing and fading away because of this war and this president. So many people are dying and their families can never see them again. It's messed up if you really think hard and deep about it.

even superman died once, in hollywoodland -- the movie, and in real life, the guy that played superman in the 40s i believe committed suicide after a party

Well, I guess all of our "super soldiers" have been doing the same thing that Captain America did, die, thanks to this war on terrorism, that is not needed. That's another topic, but just wanted to point that out.
