View Full Version : Most important position in football (on the offense)?

What do you guys think.
Personally, to me it's either Wide Receiver or Running Back.
Quarterback would never get a touchdown-pass without a WR.

and the WR would never get a touchdown pass without the quarterback :) He is responsible for making sure the ball gets to the other end and he decides on who should get the ball in tight situations, so I would say quarterback , and then maybe wide receivers...they have to know their part as well.

a good qb , a bad qb, and a great qb can be the difference between having a team make the playoffs, having a top 10 draft choice the next or being a super contender year in and out, a good running game is also vastly important in making a run to a SB, WR is very unimportant..a team can win SB's with average WR's just look at the Patriots in there SB wins

It's defiantly quarterback. Your offense surrounds the quarterback, you can't get a play started without a quarterback.
