View Full Version : Konami announces several games for Iphone/Ipod touch

KONAMI will make downloads of METAL GEAR SOLID TOUCH, DanceDanceRevolution S Lite, SILENT HILL The Escape and Frogger for the iPhone and iPod touch progressively available from late this month.

METAL GEAR SOLID TOUCH is an original game that brings to life the world and characters of MTAL GEAR SOLID 4 GUNS OF THE PATRIOTS (MGS4).

With direct control through the touch panel, it's simple for anyone to move their alignment or switch to zoom mode.

Each stage's location and characters are based on the story of MGS4. The initial download will contain 8 stages, with additional stages to be added later.

There are many ways to enjoy the game as points earned by clearing stages unlocks images and wallpapers from the METAL GEAR series.


DanceDanceRevolution S Lite, SILENT HILL The Escape and Frogger will be released prior to METAL GEAR SOLID TOUCH late this month.

Well, this could lead to other console releases.
This might just be the beginning.
But this could also be the end.
Let's hope it's the first.

Even if it isn't out by April, it might be out on 360 one day, and on that day I will be right. And then I can rub it in.

I Have friends with both the ipod touch and iphone...I'm sure they'll be happy with the news.

i hope my mom got me an ipod touch for christmas. Cuz i want this metal gear game, and the silent hill game.

So I got an ipod touch, and i only have like 4 GB of music on my 16GB ipod...so i'll most likely be getting it

ah, 4gb of music is a lot of songs...unless you have a lot of videos and yeah, you have enough space for the games you need :D i only have an ipod nano, 2 gb total memory

Same here, holds like 1k songs or something like that. I only have a couple hundred on mine.

well I'm probably gonna put some of those useless digital copy discs to good use. I may put the dark knight on my ipod. And some music videos i REALLY like

but before i had so much music i couldn't fit it all onto my ipod so i decided lets only put on songs that i listen to a lot. so i slimmed it down, and i kept doing that and like cut how much i had on my ipod by like half lolz

I was thinking of selling my 16gb and buying a 32gb because I have over 20GB of music lol

I don't know if MGS will be any good on ipod 'cause the ipod has crap graphics and some games controls are so bad that they are unplayable.

i still buy ps1 games bro. i can handle lousy controls and bland graphics.
