I can't believe Hellsing isn't on this list! Or Hellsing: Ultimate!

Hellsing - 13 episode anime series based loosely on Kouta Hirano's amazing manga.
Hellsing Ultimate - Series of OVAs that follow the manga more closely

Also, don't forget Vampire Knight and Vampire Knight: Guilty!

Another good anime is Saikano. It also goes by the names "SHE, the ultimate weapon" and "My girlfriend, the ultimate weapon". Saikano being the name of the manga and the japanese title is a lot quicker to say.

.Hack\\ Legend of the Twilight needs adding (I think that's the title)

Vision of Escaflowne is also not on this list, and that anime is terrific.

There was another one I watched a while back on Anime Central, I think it was called S-cry-ed. I remember that one being good as well.

And... umm... my yaoi loving best friend who happens to be sitting next to me says Junjou Romantic should be added to the list T_T
