Default Game computer got locked by my brother

My younger brother changed the login password of my gaming computer. He told me this morning he can't remember it clearly. He tried a few with hints but failed. So what is the secure way to change the password other than reinstalltion?

If you've forgotten your Windows password, there are several ways to retrieve or reset it:
If you're using a Microsoft account, you can reset your password online. For more info, go to the Reset your password webpage.
If you're using a local account, use your password hint as a reminder, or Windows password recovery tools like UUkeys windows password mate, ntpassword, ophcrack and more..

Alternatively, if you have another administrator account, login with it to reset that account password:
Control Panel -> User Accounts ->Manage another account, select that account, click the change the password link to reset its password.
If you've tried these suggestions and still can't sign in, you'll need to reinstall Windows.

there are many such password reset tools like ntpassword, ophcrack, iseepassword and more..

all of them require an USB drive to burn a reset disk!

Hmm, are they all effective though?
